ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Madee Sabatier is a recent graduate from Chapman University, with a BFA Broadcast Journalism & Documentary Major + BA French Major. She has experience in documentary development and production, social media, video editing, photography, and creative collaboration. Sabatier is constantly looking for a challenge and a way to learn. She has a passion for sports, investigative, and social issue documentaries, as well as general unscripted content, such as short form women's sports content.
Some of Sabatier's most valuable documentary experiences come from her few years at Chapman, as she was a part of two major student documentaries. Surrender to the Sound, her thesis film, which she directed and edited, and Where We Once Roamed, a fully funded film out of the Community Voices Program, which she produced.
Currently, Sabatier is working at Angel City Football Club, where she supports the social media team with short-form content for their respective platforms. Similarly, Sabatier manages all social media platforms at Girls Soccer Network. Additionally, Madee is a Production Assistant at Union Editorial, where she is working hands on with various clients, such as Netflix. She recently began doing research and other “assistant to producer” tasks as well.
With Madee's strong passion for documentary filmmaking and general unscripted content, she hopes to impact the communities around her through the power of visual storytelling.
"Madee was excellent to work with. She made me feel very comfortable and I had a lot of fun working with her. And the results were amazing." - Nadia Murad
